If there’s any insight to take from the catastrophic earthquakes in Haiti and now Chile, I believe it is this: get prepared. Whether it’s an earthquake, hurricane, tornado, tsunami, fire or flood, make sure your family and you have an escape plan, medical supplies, food and water, in the event that you are directly affected by a natural disaster.
